Driving Directions

The Town of Aquaforte is located South on Route 10 along the Irish Loop of the Avalon Peninsula, just 80 minutes from the St. John’s International Airport.

From The East

Travel along Route 1 West along the Trans Canada Highway, and exist onto route 13 to Witless Bay. Turn right onto route 10 and travel South along The Irish Loop until you reach Aquaforte.

If you would prefer the scenic route, you can leave the city of Mount Pearl along Route 10 and travel The Irish Loop. You will pass communities such as Bay Bulls, Witless Bay, Mobile and Ferryland. This scenic ocean drive offers amazing views and you may even spot a whale or two breaching on the drive.

From The West

If you are travelling from the West, you can either take route 90 along the Salmonier Line and travel along The Irish Loop until you reach Aquaforte. OR you can continue on route 1 along the Trans Canada Highway until you reach the exit for route 13. Follow route 13 down to Witless Bay, and then travel South along The Irish Loop on route 10.
